Capreon Secures New Tenants for The Lanes, Carlisle

London, UK, October 2017 – Capreon, the Noé Group real estate business, has today announced the letting of 2,489-sq. ft., to Costa Coffee in The Lanes Shopping Centre, Carlisle. The new store will be opening mid-November.

The unit is at the intersection of Globe lane, an important connection of stores with high foot-fall. The deal sees another latest high-profile, national brand join The Lanes’ existing portfolio and showcases the attraction of the centre and the local area,

This is the second significant letting, following the completion of a recent 10 year lease renewal with JD Sports on Peascod Lane (3,940 sq ft Ground floor and 979 sq ft at Basement level) and complements the anchor lettings in Debenhams, Primark and Next.Susan Agnew, NW & West Scotland Acquisitions

Manager at Costa Coffee, said “We are very excited to be opening in Carlisle and hope that this new venue will complement The Lanes and its busy surrounding areas.” The Lanes was expanded to 415,000 sq ft in 2000 and is the largest shopping centre in Carlisle. The 81 retail stores within the centre include national brand stores such as New Look, Superdrug, Holland & Barratt and Ernest Jones.
